The job
As a Mechanical Engineer, you play a crucial role in providing technical support to our production departments. You will focus on implementing improvement processes and addressing first-line issues encountered by Operators.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You closely monitor the progress of production and provide technical support when needed.
- You resolve short-cycle technical problems, such as production disruptions and incidents affecting production processes.
- You implement improvement actions to optimize production processes and ensure corrective and preventive measures are in place.
- You support Process Engineers with optimization projects and industrialization challenges.
- You manage and maintain work instructions.
- You assist the Quality department in handling RMAs by investigating root causes, evaluating complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and repairing returned products.
- You help train operators, ensuring they are well-prepared to perform their tasks effectively.
We are looking for
- A completed (technical) bachelor’s degree (HBO) or MBO+ level with several years of experience.
- A hands-on mentality and a proactive work attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English and the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
