Anteryon: We are an innovative high-tech company serving global industrial clients. We take precision to a whole new level. We design and manufacture optical precision elements and assemblies for a variety of markets including medical, semiconductor, security, automotive and construction. We specialize in the development and production of aspherical lenses, precision glass components, laser modules and opto-mechanical assemblies. Various technologies are used in this process, such as replication of optical structures, deposition, etching, lithographic patterning, CNC milling and other techniques. Our optomechanical modules and micro-optical assemblies are manufactured in our own cleanroom facilities at the new Brainport Industries Campus.
The job
As a Group Lead Technology, you will have a hybrid position that combines hands-on technical contributions to development and improvement projects with people management responsibilities.
Reporting to the CTO, you play a crucial role in driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering team development across Anteryon’s value chain.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design, development, and prototyping of components, modules, systems, or processes to ensure reliable and scalable production.
- Provide technical expertise through simulations, testing, and problem-solving to support project milestones and advise the CTO and project managers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams and manufacturing to ensure seamless project execution and innovative solutions.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary R&D and engineering team, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and learning.
- Conduct performance reviews, support skill development, and align resources with project priorities in collaboration with the CTO.
- Define technology and product roadmaps alongside the CTO, contributing to Anteryon’s strategic goals.
We are looking for
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, with proven experience in R&D or engineering environments.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and inspire innovation.
- Technical expertise in design, analysis, and prototyping, combined with a solid understanding of product lifecycle management and development processes.
- An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of balancing technical and managerial responsibilities effectively.
